John B. Catalano, MD, FAAOS, is a board certified, fellowship trained, Orthopaedic Surgeon and partner with Premier Orthopaedic Associates. 

Dr. Catalano covers all areas of orthopaedic care and specializes in orthopaedic trauma and fracture surgery, arthritis care, and total joint replacement. As an orthopaedic surgeon who helps patients with arthritis, broken bones and other painful injuries, Dr. Catalano tries every option available to help his patients find relief. His vast experience and knowledge in the areas of fracture care and joint replacement have been recognized with many teaching awards. 

Dr. Catalano graduated from Muhlenberg College and attained his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Medical College. He completed his Internship at Lankenau Hospital and his Residency Training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Catalano then received his Fellowship Training at Cooper University Hospital where he eventually became the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Catalano‚Äôs extensive experience at these institutions helps him treat patients who are suffering from painful orthopaedic injuries and the consequences of post traumatic deformity and arthritis. 

As an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Catalano treats patients who have suffered serious orthopaedic injuries and are in need of orthopaedic care or treatment of the issues that might arise from the initial injury.
