Danielle K. Francis is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates since 2008. She achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree from Rowan University and a Master of Health Science, Physician Assistant degree from Drexel-Hahnemann University. Danielle works directly with Dr. Catalano, a reconstructive and fracture specialist. She has over 15 years of experience with emergency orthopedic care, conservative osteoarthritis management, pre/post-operative evaluations, and as a first assistant in surgery. She is proficient at interpreting diagnostic studies, casting, in office procedures, and injections. Danielle is passionate about patient education and helping patients navigate their orthopedic treatment.

Ian R. Gray is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates since 2009. Ian achieved a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Wellness degree from Rutgers University and completed a Master of Science, Physician Assistant program at Drexel-Hahnemann. Ian works alongside Dr. McAlpin utilizing his experience in sports medicine and physical therapy. Ian's patients appreciate his passion and knowledge on diet and weight loss for overall physical health.
John B. Ferraro, PA-C

John B. Ferraro is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates since 2011. John achieved a Bachelor of Biology degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a Master of Health Science, Physician Assistant degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He has assisted in numerous procedures related to the spine, sports medicine, and general orthopedics. John works with Dr. Shah and has collaborated with Dr. Shah on book chapters and journal articles on minimally invasive spine surgery. John participates in nationwide studies and research on minimally invasive cervical fusion surgery and patient outcomes. Working with Premier Orthopaedic Associates fulfills John’s dream to serve the community where he grew up.
Christian M. Brenner, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Christian M. Brenner is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates since 2012. Christian achieved a Bachelor of Science degree from Rowan University and went on to complete a Master of Health Science, Physician Assistant Program at Drexel-Hahnemann University. Christian works with Dr. Dwyer, providing assistance with daily clinical assessments, treatments, film interpretation, injections, and also assists in orthopedic and general surgeries.
Kaitlin Connelly, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Kaitlin Connelly has been a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates since November 2023. She obtained her Bachelor of Science, graduating Cum Laude and Master of Science, Physician Assistant degree from Philadelphia University. With Kaitlin’s extensive experience in pain management she supports all of our Pain Management Specialists; Dr. Smith, Dr. Cooper, Dr. Fitzhenry, and Dr. Mariani. Katilin is skilled at interpreting diagnostic imaging, labs, and various test results. She also performs office injections and procedures as directed by a supervising physician. Kaitlin is known to be a great listener who takes the time to understand the needs of her patients.
Jason Clapper, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Jason Clapper is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Orthopaedic Associates as of August 2022. Jason achieved a Bachelor of Science, Athletic Training degree from Rowan University. He was awarded Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistant inductee based on academic excellence, leadership, and high standard of character. Jason went on to receive his Master of Science, Physician Assistant degree from Monmouth University where he was in the top 10% of his colleagues. Jason works alongside Dr. Wu, Dr. Mostello, and Dr. Albana assisting with orthopedic surgical procedures as well as providing pre, peri and post-operative care.
Nicholas Dignazio, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Nicholas is a Certified Physician Assistant with Premier Orthopaedic Associates as of January 2025. Nicholas obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware and completed a Master of Health Science, Physician Assistant program at Drexel-Hahnemann. Nicholas has been dedicated to the field of pain and spine since 2012 working directly with Dr. Zerbo. He has experience in first and second assist in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries, physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic labs and medical imaging. Nicholas also performs inpatient rounding, and develops and implements plan of care with Dr. Zerbo. Nicholas is passionate about educating his patients on spine care so they can lead an active lifestyle pain-free.
